Dormiveglia is the transitional space between wakefulness and sleep. It is a few second passage when the human body moves from one state to another. When one is not yet asleep, yet no longer awake. The current reality of a pandemic has resembled for many the state of Dormiveglia, going through this period of isolation, without really knowing if we are awake or asleep. And still, we are stuck in this state, in Dormiveglia, with a blur line between reality and dream.
The photos depict a distorted reality. In this series I wanted to show the psychological state of (not) getting both sleep and wakefulness.
